At its next meeting Wednesday, February 19, 2020 Friends of Jawbone will discuss in detail its plans for the 2020 California OHV grants cycle.  At 10:30AM, there will be an opportunity for stakeholders to provide input regarding projects they would like to see FOJ pursue under the OHV grants program. At the previous meeting, we heard comments from the public. At this meeting we are inviting stakeholders which are all parties engaged in, interested in, or affected by, activities of the OHMVR Division.

It is especially important for stakeholders to attend this month's meeting because this is everyones community and we all deserve to be heard. Please come with your ideas and share them with us.  The meeting will be held at the BLM's Jawbone Station Visitors Center located at 28111 Jawbone Canyon Road (at CA Hwy 14) in Cantil, California.

The annual OHV grant applications are a key part of the partnership between the Friends of Jawbone and the State of California, which issues grants to a variety of entities to improve OHV recreation. These meetings help improve the chance that our community can be improved.  This year, we are anticipating $40 million available for allocation.
