Applies to: California. Map shows Inyo National Forest sections east and west of Bishop. Also shown farther west of Bishop is Sierra National Forest with John Muir Wilderness, and the northern part of Kings Canyon National Park. A section of the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail in John Muir Wilderness north of Kings Canyon is shown. Scenic driving on the Ancient Bristlecone Pine National Scenic Byway is accessed near Big Pine Indian Reservation(on Hwy 395). Or drive southwest of Bishop for camping, hiking, fishing, and boating in the national forest. Official Bureau of Land Management metric topographic map @1:100,000 scale (roughly 3/4"=1 mile), color-coded to show surface management, i.e. agency vs. private or tribal ownership. This map shows roads, water features, recreation sites, points of interest, and the township and range lines. Map shows trails, roads, and developed recreation areas such as campgrounds.
