Moose Anderson Day 2025Poker Run Pre-Registration Notification
Friends of Jawbone is tentatively planning a return of the Poker Run event for Moose Anderson Day Weekend on Sunday, April 27, 2025. Registration for this event may be limited. As such, use our contact form below and we will let you know more about the Poker Run event if it moves forward.
Pre-Registration does not guarantee a spot in the Poker Run. Rather, Pre-Registrations will help us better plan our event’s size and scope, and give you the opportunity to sign up first should our event move forward!
Start in Dove Springs, at the intersection of SC129, SC5 and SC94
Proceed along SC94
Turn onto SC161
Collect Second Card at intersection of SC161 and SC120
Proceed along SC120
Turn north onto SC82

Alternate Route
Turn West from SC82 onto SC88
Continues North along SC78
Switchback onto SC65
Resume North onto SC82
–
Collect Third Card and switchback Southeast onto SC51
Collect Fourth Card and drive South toward Dove Springs via SC5
End back at original staging area, collect Fifth and final card.

Entry Fees:
Drivers – $50.00
Passengers – $25.00
Non-Playing Passengers (No Scorecards) – FREE
Additional Hands: $10.00
Card Redraws – $5.00 (Max. 2 redraws per hand.)
Schedule of Events:
8:00 – 10:00 AM – Registration/Check-In for Participants
10:00 AM – Registration/Check-In Closes, Participants gathered for Mandatory Driver Orientation Meeting.
10:00 – 12:00 PM – Self Starting window opens, Poker Run checkpoints open.
1:30 PM – Mid-Course Checkpoints close
2:00 PM – All Poker Run Checkpoints close.
2:00 – 3:30 PM – Participants gather for lunch and awards ceremony.
Rules:
Driver/Operator Rules:
All drivers/operators must attend a brief driver orientation meeting at the start of the event to receive their Scorecards.
Drivers must abide by all laws and regulations governing OHV use.
Drivers must observe reasonable and prudent speeds along the course.
Player Rules:
Your Scorecard must be handed in before 2:00 PM, or you will be marked “DNF” (Did Not Finish.)
Scorecards that were purchased but not started/played are eligible for refunds. There are no refunds for lost, stolen, damaged or DNF Scorecards.
Hands will be judged according to the hand rankings list present on each Scorecard. Rare, but technically possible combinations such as Five of a Kind, Five Flush, OR Flush House are invalid.
In the case of a tie, there will be a draw for high card to determine the winner.
Only two (2) redraws are allowed per hand played. Only one card can be redrawn per redraw. Redrawn cards overwrite previously drawn cards, players cannot pick between the original card and a redrawn card.
All decisions of the judges are final!

9:00 AM – Volunteer Event Begins
12:00 PM – Lunch – FREE for All Participant (Raffle During Lunch)
1:15 PM – Assemble for Trail Ride
1:30 PM – 3:00 PM – Trail Ride
