Jawbone Visitor Center Is Open

We welcome you to visit the Jawbone Station Visitor Center, open from 8:30am-4:00pm. Get your maps, books, t-shirts, “Keep Kern Clean” bags, Campfire Permits, and CA nonresident OHV Permits all at our top of the line Gift Shop. Stop by and grab a Friends of Jawbone sweater to stay warm! Begin your tour of the Eastern Kern County area at Jawbone Station, located on Highway 14, just 20 miles north of Mojave. The station provides information, maps, books, and other services to off-roaders, tourists, hikers, bikers, and equestrians.
