Keysville Special Recreation Management Area (SRMA)

You’ll find many diverse recreational opportunities within the Keysville SRMA, including white-water rafting, fishing, gold panning, OHV riding, 4×4 touring, and dispersed camping. A trail network with over 70 miles of designated routes for motorized, equestrian, and mountain bike used is laced throughout the area. The Keysville SRMA is dense with cultural and historic sites, including the prospects that started the Kern River Gold Rush. Use extreme caution around the river’s edge and ALWAYS use a life jacket when boating.

You can find this Discovery Point via GPS at N35.6412, W118.4838, or in section L-2 with the Jawbone Canyon OHV Map.
