Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail (PCT)

Extending from the Mexican border to the Canadian border, the historic Pacific Crest Trail serves as a wilderness highway for hikers. The BLM Ridgecrest Field Office manages the Desert, Cameron Ridge, Cache Peak, and Dove Spring segments of the trail, and maintains information on the Piute Mountain, Scodie, and Owens Peak segments. The PCT can be accessed from Indian Wells Canyon, Walker Pass, Grapevine Canyon, or Little Lake. For additional information call the Pacific Crest Trail Association at (916) 285-1846 or visit: pcta.org.
